QA Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a QA Engineer to lead our efforts in creating a high quality product for our users. As a QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of innovation while delivering an unparalleled user experience. This position reports to the QA Manager and has a salary range of $118,000 - $295,000 BRL.

What you will do

• Campaign Testing: Test marketing campaigns to verify their accuracy, effectiveness, and alignment with project requirements

• Push Notification Testing: Verify the proper functioning of push notifications across different platforms.
• In-App Messages and Emails: Test in-app messages and email campaigns to ensure they are delivered correctly and provide an optimal user experience.
• Create Test Cases: Develop comprehensive test cases for manual testing, ensuring coverage of critical functionalities.
• Execute Tests and Report Bugs: 
• Perform thorough testing during the development phase and contribute to routine regression testing.
• The report identified bugs with clear documentation to facilitate swift resolution.
• Troubleshoot Issues: Assist in troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with the development team to ensure efficient problem resolution.
• Collaborate with Developers: Collaborate closely with developers to identify and address bugs early in the development cycle.
• Out-of-the-Box Thinking: Apply creative problem-solving skills to think beyond the obvious, identifying potential issues before release.

The ideal candidate

Ideal:

• Has 3+ years of experience in QA.
• Possesses experience in both mobile (iOS and Android) and web testing.

Preferred:

• Experience in test automation and low code automation tools.
• Experience in backend API testing.
